Palestinian-American businessman Bishara Bahbah, who served as a mediator between Hamas and the U.S. administration and helped secure the release of Idan Alexander, announced that he is resigning from the American negotiation team. Bahbah was not an official member of the team and did not hold a position – but said he would no longer work as part of the team and would instead operate independently.
