A woman in her 70s has died after being struck by a car in south Dublin last Sunday.

The incident occurred on Castle Villas in Dalkey at around 4.30pm.

The woman was brought to St Vincent’s University Hospital where she died yesterday.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.

They are specifically calling on anyone who was in the Castle Villas area at the time of the crash and who may have footage, including dash cam footage, to make the footage available to investigating gardaí.
