A man in his 60s has been killed in a road traffic collision in Co Tipperary today.
Gardaà are appealing for witnesses following the single-vehicle fatal road traffic collision on the N24 at Kilmoyler, Cahir.
Gardai and emergency services responded to the collision, involving a car, at approximately 10.40am.
The driver and sole occupant of the car, a man aged in his 60s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
His body has been removed to Tipperary University Hospital and a post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are currently conducting an examination of the scene and the road remains closed. Local diversions are in place.
Gardaà are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were traveling in the area between 10.30am and 11am are asked to make this footage available to investigating GardaÃ.
