Aaliyah was caught on CCTV in Smallbrook Queensway, Birmingham, shortly before 10:00 GMT that day, having got the train into Birmingham New Street station.
Smyth said: “We are extremely concerned for Aaliyah’s welfare, not least because she has been missing for more than a week but also her age.
“She could have traveled anywhere after being seen on CCTV near Birmingham New Street train station.”
“We are doing everything we can to find Aaliyah since she was reported missing, with support from policing and other partners, but we need the public’s support,”she added.
