The Parisians had fallen behind to a Harry Kane penalty, after Willian Pacho was adjudged to have fouled Luis Diaz in the area, but lead 3-2 at the break with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Joao Neves and Ousmane Dembele all on target. Kvaratskhelia and Dembele then netted in quick succession before the hour mark as PSG threatened to take the tie away from the Bundesliga champions.
