BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Six people were shot in North Baltimore on Saturday evening, according to Baltimore Police.
On August 9 at around 8:46 p.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting at Spaulding and Queensberry Avenues.
Upon arrival, officials reported finding four males and two females with gunshot wounds, including a five-year-old girl who was shot in the hand.
One of the male victims, who is reported to be 38 years old, is in critical condition and is currently in surgery at a nearby hospital, officials said.
The 5-year-old girl, as well as a 23-year-old female, a 32-year-old male, a 33-year-old male, and a 52-year-old male are all believed to be suffering from non-life-threatening injuries, Baltimore Police announced.
Police noted that due to the severity of the 38-year-old’s injuries, Homicide Detectives were called to the scene to investigate.
Commissioner Worley stated he believes these individuals were outside when someone opened fire.
No arrests have been made at this time.
