A POPULAR chain of coffeehouses and the country’s largest supplier of books are both “coming soon” to Limerick, it has been revealed by Parkway Shopping Centre.

Limerick’s first ever drive-thru Starbucks and Eason will open at the shopping centre on the Dublin Road.

An opening date for the American multinational chain and book store has yet to be announced. 

The Limerick shopping centre has said Eason will have “a completely revamped modern look.”

The news comes following the opening of discount chemist chain, Chemist Warehouse, at the shopping centre last weekend.

In recent months “Mini-India”, “Half Price Ink” and “Zeetech” have all opened at the centre. 

Starbucks has been in Ireland since 2005, when they opened their first store in the Dundrum Town Centre. 

The coffee giant has over 15,000 stores in 50 countries.
