VANCOUVER, Wash (KPTV) – The wife of a man who was arrested in connection with a child molestation case has also been arrested on similar charges.
The Vancouver Police Department said Anna May Hartley was booked into the Clark County Jail on Monday, May 11, for first-degree child molestation and first-degree trafficking. After a court appearance on Tuesday, she was being held on a $300K bail.
Going forward, Anna May Hartley and Chad Hartley will be co-defendants, a judge ruled.
Chad Hartley, was arrested on April 29 for second-degree dealing in child pornography, possession of child pornography, and first-degree child molestation. Child trafficking charges were later added.

The Hartley’s, according to court documents, are linked to Dr. Michael Wilmington, a longtime pediatrician at Kaiser Permanent in Salmon Creek who was accused of child molestation by Vancouver police.
Court documents say Chad Hartley brought a child to Wilmington’s house for weekly nude sleepovers.
Wilmington was found dead from an apparent suicide after a warrant was put out for his arrest.
