Investigations are ongoing after a man was hospitalised following an alleged assault in Waterford City last night.

Gardaí received a report of an incident of assault that occurred in the John Street area of Waterford city on Sunday 10th August 2025 at approximately 7:30pm.

A male in his 40s was conveyed to University Hospital Waterford for treatment of injuries which are believed to be non-life threatening.
