In a fraternal atmosphere on Thursday morning (14), Pastor José Wellington Costa Junior, President of the General Convention of Ministers of the Evangelical Assemblies of God Churches in Brazil (CGADB), together with Pastor José Wellington Bezerra da Costa, Honorary President, received the distinguished visit of Mr. Rafael Erdreich, Consul General of Israel, at the office in São Paulo (SP).

During the institutional meeting, the pastors and the Consul spoke about the friendship between the Brazilian evangelical community and the Israeli community. The leaders also emphasized the respect and love of the Brazilian Assemblies of God Church for the Nation of Israel and the Jewish people, reaffirming that the Assemblies of God Church will always be a welcoming place of worship to God, also for the Jewish people.

The meeting was attended by pastors Paulo Morais, Vice President of the CGADB Legal Committee; Alexandre Junior, Executive Secretary of CGADB; Valmir Vicente (SP); and Marcelo Fakhouri. Assisting the Consul was Mr. Patrick Lambert.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Pastor José Wellington prayed for Israel and its representative, while Pastor José Wellington Junior presented Mr. Rafael and his team with the “Kit Acolher,” which showcases the structure of the Assemblies of God Church in São Paulo – Headquarters of the Belém Ministry.
