Geelong has released a GMHBA Health Update ahead of their Round 23 clash with Sydney at the SCG
The Geelong Cats can provide the following GMHBA Health Update ahead of the Geelong’s upcoming games against Sydney in the AFL and VFL.
After being subbed out of the AFL match against Essendon with hamstring tightness, defender Jack Henry has been cleared of injury and will be available for selection this week, as will Jack Martin and Patrick Dangerfield, who both missed on Friday night after being managed.
Toby Conway will be sidelined for the final VFL home-and-away game this Sunday against Sydney after sustaining a right foot injury in Geelong’s VFL clash against Essendon last weekend.
Conway suffered the injury during the second quarter, with the Club’s medical and high-performance team now consulting in conjunction with specialists to determine a diagnosis and the best course of action.
In other injury news, Mitch Duncan is set to make his return via the VFL on the weekend, while Cam Guthrie will be a test to play as he pushes to return from a calf injury.
Over the weekend, Jake Kolodjashnij made a successful return from a groin injury, collecting nine disposals, one mark and a goal in the VFL.
