Cristiano Ronaldo is officially off the market.
Arguably the most famous soccer player on the planet just popped the question to longtime girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, after over eight years together.
The ring looks worth the wait.
Rodriguez showed off her jaw-dropping new bling on Instagram, with experts estimating that the diamond may be as large as 15 carats — worth several million dollars.
“Yes I do. In this and in all my lives,” Rodriguez said in a translated post on Instagram.
The photograph is geotagged to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where Ronaldo is the world’s highest-paid athlete. The Portuguese soccer legend moved to Saudi club Al-Nassr in 2023, following two years back with Manchester United. Ronaldo has also starred with Sporting CP, Real Madrid, and Juventus in his storied career.
The 40-year-old megastar makes $225 million playing pro soccer in the Middle East, plus another $50 million in endorsement deals, per Forbes. That last figure is helped by 662 followers on Instagram, which makes him the most followed person on the planet.
Ronaldo and Rodriguez have four children together, plus a fifth that died at childbirth in 2022. The couple also parent Ronaldo’s 15-year-old son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.
