Uncrowned has Oleksandr Usyk vs. Rico Verhoeven live results, round-by-round updates, highlights, ring walks and start time for the Usyk vs. Verhoeven card on Saturday at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. In a historic main event, boxing’s pound-for-pound king Oleksandr Usyk defends his WBC heavyweight title against kickboxing legend Rico Verhoeven in a big-time crossover clash.

Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs), a former undisputed cruiserweight and heavyweight champion, enters the bout as the WBC, WBA and IBF unified heavyweight titlist, although the latter two belts will not be on the line because his opponent is unranked.

Usyk is one of the most accomplished fighters of this era. The Ukrainian has defeated a string of top opposition across two weight classes, including a fifth-round knockout win over the current WBO champion Daniel Dubois this past July at Wembley Stadium.

After establishing himself as one of the greatest kickboxers of all time, Verhoeven (1-0, 1 KO) enters a boxing ring for just the second time Saturday. Verhoeven, 36, had his lone professional boxing match to date in 2014, a second-round knockout of Janos Finfera.

A longtime GLORY heavyweight champion, Verhoeven (66-10 kickboxing) retired from kickboxing this past June. The Dutchman holds multiple GLORY Kickboxing records, including a run of 13 consecutive title defenses in the promotion.

The Usyk vs. Verhoeven prelims begin at 11 a.m. ET and can be watched on Uncrowned below.

The main card starts at 2 p.m. ET on DAZN pay-per-view, with main event ring walks expected around 6 p.m. ET.

Giyasov finds a spurt of success in the final 30 seconds of Round 11. Catterall was cruising, but then Giyasov began to pour some pressure onto the Brit, back him up, and let his hands go.

Catterall is dominating round after round, and every three-minute section looks quite similar now. The body punching has been fantastic tonight. Giyasov can’t get past the Catterall jab without eating a left hand, and he is an easy target for body shots when he’s at mid-range.

10-9 Catterall, 99-90 Catterall

Body work from Catterall at the end of the first minute. Giyasov is waiting too long to let his hands go. He’s fighting at Catterall’s ideal pace. Brilliant left-hand suck into the mid-section from Catterall. And then a signature one-two, which has landed all night long. It’s such a basic combination, but why change it if it’s working? Two more lefts connect.

10-9 Catterall, 79-72 Catterall

Into the second half we go, and Giyasov needs a big second half to win this fight on the scorecards.

Two lefts down the middle score for Catterall. Body shots are landing for him.

Giyasov was WOBBLED again in the closing moments of Round 7.

10-9 Catterall, 69-63 Catterall

A one-two has Giyasov rocking and off balance to open Round 6.

Catterall isn’t letting Giyasov have too many opportunities to let his hands go. He controls the action with his jab and keeps Giyasov thinking by going downstairs frequently.

One-two lands for Catterall and a hard body shot afterward. Dominant from the Brit.

10-9 Catterall, 59-54 Catterall

Catterall has begun Round 5 on the front foot. Giyasov made him fall short with his early offense. The Body shots scored, though, for both.

Nice one-two down the middle. Giyasov has no answer for that combination.

Left-hand counter finds a home for Catterall. They exchanged in the final minute. Giyasov had a bit of success at the end of the fifth, but Catterall controlled the majority of that frame.

10-9 Catterall, 49-45 Catterall

Giyasov has done very little of note heading into Round 4.

Not much is going on in the first half of this round. Giyasov is the one plodding forward but isn’t landing much. He has slowed Catterall’s offense, though.

Body shot scores for Catterall. Nice jab. Left hook around the guard from the Uzbek and then he put some punches together.

10-9 Giyasov, 39-36 Catterall

A stiff jab connects early in the third for Catterall. One-two finds the target. Catterall is becoming a bit more aggressive in this round. He is walking Giyasov down and looking for a left, and he lands it brilliantly in the final 15 seconds.

10-9 Catterall, 30-26 Catterall

The left hand is still working a treat for Catterall as another one breaks the guard in the opening minute. Giyasov has to find a way to defend from that punch. Catterall fired to the body on a couple of occasions in the second minute. Giyasov responds with a right. A jab penetrates the guard, as does a left a few seconds later. Catterall just fell short with an overhand left that time.

10-9 Catterall, 20-17 Catterall

Giyasov caught Catterall with a right early in Round 1. The feet came together at the same time, which forced Catterall off balance.

HUGE left hand down the middle from Catterall and down goes Shakhram Giyasov in the second minute of Round 1.

Early success for Catterall. Another huge left crushes Giyasov. The Uzbek is still rocked. A third left connects. Catterall cannot miss with that punch.

10-8 Catterall

Frank Sanchez had success with a right-hand earlier in Round 2. In the opening frame, Torrez was able to move out of range to avoid Sanchez’s counters. But in the second session, that wasn’t the case.

Sanchez slid perfectly to the left to make room for a counter right-hand that landed flush on Torrez’s face in the opening minute of Round 2.

Torrez ultimately could not beat the count.

Torrez is aiming much of his early work at the body. It was the key for Agit Kabayel in his destruction of Frank Sanchez, and Torrez is looking to follow in his footsteps. Torrez’s bouncing movement and feints are proving effective. The pressure is keeping Sanchez busy. Brilliant left-hand from Torrez in the final 30 seconds.

10-9 Torrrez
