Canadian carrier WestJet Airlines’ WJAFF ground stop at all destination airports has been cancelled, according to a notice on the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration’s website on Tuesday.

The airline had requested a brief ground stop for flights operating under the WestJet livery and its regional subsidiary WestJet Encore.

A ground stop is an air traffic control measure that temporarily halts flights from departing for a specific airport or region, usually due to safety, weather or operational issues.

The reason for the ground stop was not immediately clear.

In a response to a customer on X, however, the airline stated that a “system outage” led to flights being grounded.
