Foreign Minister Gideon Saar hosted a delegation of journalists led by the American network Newsmax, and told them that “a Palestinian state in the heart of Israel would be a solution for those seeking to destroy us. We will not allow this to happen.” The hosting of the delegation is part of promoting Israeli advocacy efforts. “Establishing a Palestinian state within the ’67 borders with its capital in East Jerusalem would put Israel’s population centers in serious danger and push Israel to indefensible borders,” he added.
