On Monday last, August 8th, we carried a report pertaining to Stephen McFadden of Knockfola Lower, Derrybeg. Due to a clerical error on our behalf, we mistakenly attributed a number of legal charges to Mr McFadden which are completely incorrect. We accept that Mr McFadden does not face these charges in court. We wish to apologise to Mr McFadden for any embarrassment, hurt or stress caused to him as a result of this report and are happy that he is a valued and respected member of his local community.
