LAPD pursuit of suspected DUI driver called off in South LA area – NBC Los Angeles

Police chased a driver suspected of driving under the influence until reaching the South Los Angeles area on Wednesday night.

Video from NewsChopper4 showed at least five Los Angeles Police Department vehicles following the dark-colored SUV as the pursuit made its way on the 91, 105 and 110 freeways, as well as surface streets.

The LAPD later canceled the pursuit due to safety concerns. The car was last seen in the area of San Pedro and 51st streets around 9:15 p.m.
