Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said Tehran’s negotiating team is not planning to travel to Geneva or any other location in the coming days, according to state media.

The comments come amid uncertainty over the timing and location of talks related to the proposed Islamabad memorandum.
Baghaei also said Iran would have to charge for services provided in the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iran’s Fars news agency, and added that the release of Iran’s frozen funds is an integral part of any agreement.
He also said the presence of foreign military bases and forces in the region must come to an end, according to Fars, while stressing that Iran’s management of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz would be guided by national security considerations and the interests of the international community.
