Three people were injured in the incident and an arrest made

Bosses of a bowling alley that was hit by a car have confirmed the building will be closed “until further notice”.
Derby Road in Ilkeston was closed to traffic after a collision outside MFA Bowl, near the junction of Oakdale Drive, happened at around 5pm on Friday, June 12.
The incident, which left three people injured, saw a car collide with the bowling alley, creating a hole in the side of the building’s wall.
Dramatic footage from the scene revealed the scale of the damage after the car smashed through the side of the venue after colliding with another vehicle.
MFA Bowl bosses say the site will now remain closed in the wake of the crash – something they said was “beyond our control”.
In a statement issued on social media, they said: “Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will be closed until further notice. Please know we will be back open once we’re allowed!
“A huge thank you to all the emergency services involved yesterday! We are extremely grateful those injured only suffered minor injuries.
“Thank you all for the supportive comments and love it means the world to the team!”

Derbyshire police said that the car struck another car, and three pedestrians were injured during the incident.
The pedestrians were treated for minor injuries and the driver of the vehicle, a 21-year-old man, was arrested and taken to the hospital.
A cordon and a partial road closure were put in place while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene and the damage to the building was being assessed.
MFA Bowl was contacted directly for a statement on the incident; however, they refused to comment further.
