Hull FC were well-beaten by Wakefield Trinity on Friday night, with the West Yorkshire side running out 36-10 winners at the MKM Stadium. Here are the ratings.

Logan Moy – Ran the ball with plenty of energy and was one of Hull’s brightest sparks again on what was a tough night. Solid under the high ball too but admittedly couldn’t do much as the last line of defence. 6

Harvey Barron – Beaten by Tom Johnstone for the opening try but worked hard in the backfield throughout. 5

Ethan O’Neill – Played in the centre and went okay. Ran hard and made plenty of metres. 6

Davy Litten – Back in the side after a recent knee injury. Scored a long range try and came looking for work. 6

Tom Briscoe – Scored a scrum play try with a good finish in the corner. Worked hard throughout. 6

Jake Arthur – Some decent links with Sezer and looked to take on a kicking responsibility but ultimately not enough control on a game Hull couldn’t get a grip of. 4

Aidan Sezer – Produced the pass for Briscoe and involved in Litten’s try, but as above, those moments were too few and far between. 4

Jeremiah Mata’utia – The prop started the game again and tried to get stuck in against a side clearly on top. He was sin binned in the second half after a late tackle. 4

Amir Bourouh – Went off for a HIA early on. Passed but didn’t come back on in the second half, citing vision complaints. 4

Harvie Hill – Tried to put himself about but found it hard against an opponent clearly on top. 4

Joe Batchelor – Worked hard in defence but made a couple of errors with the ball. 4

Jed Cartwright – Made two errors in contact early on. Didn’t come back on for the second half after his hamstring and back tightened up. 4

Will Kirby – Left the field early on with a potentially serious knee injury. Gutting for the young forward who was looking to kick on after last week’s high. N/A

Herman Ese’ese – The prop featured off the bench again. Tried to carry hard and get Hull going. Sin binned for a high tackle on Johnstone. Second stint was impacted by Trinity’s late dominance. 5

Hugo Salabio – There’s a welcome aggression to the French prop and he had a dig in three stints. Worked hard. 6

Will Hutchinson – The young hooker got plenty of minutes and tried his best to get Hull moving. 6

Max Wood – The on loan Hull FC prop got through a massive stint again and worked hard. Another encouraging display. 6
