Dozens of firefighters were scrambled to a major blaze in Cheetham Hill – with roads remaining closed on Saturday morning.
Residents living in the surrounding area have been told to keep windows and doors shut due to smoke.
A clean-up operation was launched at the scene near Manchester Fort on Saturday morning, with fire crews still at the scene. A number of roads are sealed off.
A video taken at the scene at the height of the blaze shows huge plumes of smoke and a raging fire.
