Hull FC are back at the MKM Stadium this Saturday afternoon, hosting in-form Wigan Warriors in Super League round 17. It’s a big ask for the Black and Whites, with the visitors riding the crest of a wave after their Challenge Cup final victory last month and sweeping up all before them since.
On the contrary, Hull have won just two of their last nine games and have it all to do against the form side in the competition. They welcome back the likes of Zak Hardaker and James Bell to the squad to help their cause but they know only a best performance of the season will be good enough to get any sort of result here. A tough afternoon awaits.
