A woman is fighting for her life in hospital after a crash in Fallowfield, police have said.
Greater Manchester Police said three arrests have been made in connection with the crash, which happened on Moseley Road at around 11.30pm on Saturday.
The three – two men and a woman – remained in custody for questionning on Sunday, the force said in a statement.

All three were held on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, GMP added.
The woman, who is 22, was described by police as being in a ‘life-threatening’ condition in hospital.

In the statement, GMP said: “At around 11.31pm on Saturday 27 June 2026, police officers were called to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Moseley Road, in Fallowfield.
“Emergency services attended and a woman, aged 22, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. A man and a woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
“A second man was arrested this morning in connection to the incident on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and causing serious injury by disqualified driving.
“All three individuals remain in custody for questioning as enquiries continue. Our Serious Collisions Investigation Unit are appealing for information, dashcam or CCTV footage to assist with enquiries.”
