A woman who died after being attacked by an alligator in Florida has ties to the Sacramento area, KCRA 3 has confirmed. Brittany Clark, 31, was killed by the alligator on Sunday afternoon while she was hiking with her boyfriend and best friend, KCRA 3’s sister-station WESH 2 reported. The attack happened near the Barr Street Trailhead in the Little Big Econ State Forest, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.Clark suffered catastrophic injuries, losing both arms in the deadly attack, officials said.According to Clark’s Facebook page, she was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Sacramento.Clark’s family is working to raise money to have her remains transported back to California so she can be laid to rest, WESH reported.
