Last month, the National Lottery launched a brand new format for the Lotto draws.
In the new Lotto game, players buy their £2 ticket in the same way. In the first round, a set of 59 balls are entered into the draw machine. Six balls are drawn plus the Bonus Ball, and if you match two or more numbers from your Lotto line you win some cash.
Then, a second set of 59 balls are entered into the second draw machine, six balls are drawn plus the Bonus Ball, and the same rule applies – if you match 2 or more numbers from your same Lotto line you will win some cash.
Essentially, every entry now has two chances of winning.
