The Juvenile Committee are pleased to announce that they have selected a development team of 40 athletes for the U17 Scottish Championships to be held over the weekend of the 22nd to the 24th of August in Grangemouth Scotland.  This team will gain valuable experience in an international environment.  Previous athletes who have had this experience went on to compete in the EYOF Championships in Skopje this summer, where they went on to win 4 brilliant medals. Some of our other past development team members were also part of the U20 team that competed in Tampere so this trip is essential for their development.

For a lot of these young competitors this will be the first time that they have had a chance to represent their Country and earn their first Irish vest whilst some of them have already competed in the SIAB’s earlier on this year.  We wish them all the very best of luck.  This team will be led by the Chair of the Juvenile committee Mark Connolly with a dedicated team of management to assist him and the athletes.
