The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) says it has identified and charged a man in connection with the theft of a bicycle.
Between 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, LPS reports that two people attended the downtown branch of the Lethbridge Public Library, each of whom was riding a bicycle.
One of the suspects allegedly used a pair of bolt cutters to cut the lock of a parked bicycle and left the area, rolling the stolen bike away while continuing to ride his own.
On Friday, August 15, LPS said its officers had charged and arrested the suspect.
