Two pedestrians, a man and woman in their 60s, have been fatally struck by a vehicle in Scarborough
Two pedestrians, a man and woman in their 60s, have been fatally struck by a vehicle in Scarborough, Toronto paramedics say.
It happened in the area of Birchmount Road and Lawrence Avenue East around 1:48 p.m.
Paramedics say two women and a child from the vehicle were transported to the hospital. There is no immediate word on their condition.
Toronto police say the vehicle also crashed into a pole, knocking it down.
