It is a Middleton family affair for the penultimate day of Wimbledon today. Kate Middleton, the royal patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, is expected to be in attendance in the Royal Box to watch Karolína Muchová and Linda Nosková compete for the women’s title. Her younger brother, James Middleton, and sister-in-law, Alizéee Thevenet, will also be at the match.
For the occasion, James wore a cream Ralph Lauren suit while Alizée chose a mini dress from French brand Sézane. On Instagram, James posted they were “matchy matchy” in their outfits.
James is the final member of the Middleton family to attend Wimbledon this year: Carole Middleton and Pippa Middleton went together one day, and Carole and Michael went another. Wimbledon “was very much part of my growing up,” Kate said in a 2017 BBC documentary, On Wimbledon, about the tournament. “It’s such a quintessential part of the English summer, and I think it really inspires youngsters; it inspired me when I was younger to get involved in the game.”
James and Alizée haven’t been at Wimbledon in recent years; their last appearance was in 2023.

Recently, James joined his older sister the Princess of Wales in completing the Three Peaks Challenge, where participants climb three mountains in 24 hours. “Two years ago, I told you we’d climb this mountain together,” he wrote on Instagram. “We talked about climbing mountains while you were in hospital, and about the incredible healing power that nature can have for both the body and the mind. So it was such an honour to join you for your Three Peaks Challenge for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity Seeing how far you’ve come is nothing short of inspiring. Your strength, resilience, and determination, all while being the most amazing mother, wife, daughter, and sister, inspire me and so many others every single day. Keep being exactly who you are.”
