Liverpool Lime Street disruption live as fire breaks out near tracks in Winsford

Trains may be diverted to avoid the affected area.

Tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on the following routes:

Northern services between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Piccadilly, and also between Manchester Piccadilly and PrestonTransPennine Express services between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester PiccadillyTransport for Wales between Chester and Manchester Piccadilly

If your journey between Crewe and Liverpool Lime Street, Glasgow Central, or Edinburgh is affected, you can use your ticket dated Saturday 11 to travel on Sunday 12 July.

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

If you no longer wish to travel because your train’s delayed or cancelled, you can request a full refund from where you bought your ticket.
