I had the honor of representing the bipartisan American pro-Israel community to Sen. Lindsey Graham (of blessed memory) for 15 years, as a volunteer member of the board of directors of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). Among the many times he impressed, informed, and inspired me across those years, perhaps none made me prouder than the evening when, speaking to 10,000 people at the 2010 AIPAC Policy Conference, he said: “Barack Obama is my president, and I pray for him every day.”
