A man aged in his 50s has been killed after a shocking hit-and-run incident in County Antrim.
The collision occurred shortly before 10:35pm last night in Ballyclare.
Two pedestrians, a man aged in his 50s and a woman aged in her 40s, were struck by the driver of a car which then failed to remain at the scene of the collision.
The man was sadly killed, with the woman also being taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The driver was arrested in connection with the collision and remains in custody.
Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
