Chief Superintendent John Davies of Gwent Police said: “We understand that reports of this nature are deeply unsettling and distressing for our communities. A man, who was arrested at the scene, is currently in police custody, and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area, while our officers continue to carry out enquiries. If you have any concerns or have any information, please don’t hesitate to speak to them.”
