Boston police are investigating a death at a rental home owned by the husband of U.S. Rep. Ayanna Pressley.
“The Congresswoman extends her deepest condolences to the impacted family,” a Pressley spokesperson told the Herald.
The investigation was spurred by an “investigate person” call at 25 Malta St. in Mattapan that the police department then reclassified as a death investigation, according to Boston Police Department spokesman Officer James Moccia.
Police were dispatched at 1:52 p.m. Saturday, Moccia said. A police report had not been filed by 6 p.m. so further details were not available.
That address is owned by Conan Harris, the husband of Congresswoman Pressley, according to a deed and other property records recorded in Suffolk County.
The couple does not reside at this property.
The property is described in real estate listings as an eight-bedroom, four-bath, 2,713 square-foot multifamily property.
