I despise Netanyahu’s evil government as much as anyone, but the venom toward Israel and Israelis from parts of today’s left is wrong, ignorant and harmful
Two decades ago, I wrote that the U.S. should stop giving money to Israel, which back then was already a prosperous country. Today, that call is even more justified. Israel is a richer nation than it was 20 years ago, and at the same time, has lost what little conscience it ever had regarding the human rights of Palestinians and others. At this point, there is literally nothing Israel could do in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon or Syria that most Israeli Jews wouldn’t support.
