During last week’s Knesset session on the law halting the arrest of ultra-Orthodox draft dodgers, Knesset Deputy Speaker Limor Son Har-Melech (Otzma Yehudit) tried to restore order in the plenum, standing in for Speaker Amir Ohana, who for reasons unknown ceded control of the volatile debate. Had shame finally surfaced in the final week of the 25th Knesset? Probably not.
