Manchester United have just over two weeks left to complete their summer transfer business, at which point the window will close until the New Year.
It’s already been a busy summer for United, with three new signings being confirmed over the last couple of months. Benjamin Sesko became United’s third signing of the summer last week, with Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo also completing moves to Old Trafford.
All three players could be included in Ruben Amorim’s starting line-up to face Arsenal on Sunday afternoon. There are also rumours that United could still make further new signings before the transfer window closes.
Here, the Manchester Evening News takes a look at some of the latest United transfer news and gossip that has emerged over the last 24 hours.
PSG star wanted
United are reportedly showing an interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain star Lee Kang-in.
Caught Offside have reported that United are joined by Arsenal and Napoli in expressing an interest in the South Korea international, who could leave PSG before the transfer window closes.
The report claims that PSG would be open to letting Lee leave the club this summer, provided they receive an offer that meets their valuation.
MEN Sport says: This is the first time that Lee has been linked with United, and it remains to be seen if there’s any truth to the rumour. If United were to sign Lee, who plays as a winger or in a No.10 position for PSG, it would be interesting to see what fee the Ligue 1 club would demand for his signature.
Jadon Sancho update
A fresh update has emerged about Jadon Sancho’s future amid interest from Roma.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has reported that United are ready to finalise a move for Sancho to join Roma on loan with an obligation to make the move permanent next summer for £20million.
However, the report claims that Sancho has yet to make a decision on joining Roma, which is currently what is holding up the deal from being completed.
MEN Sport says: Sancho has been linked with a move away from United for some time, ever since he informed the club of his desire to leave earlier in the summer. It now seems a matter of time before United agree a deal for Sancho to leave Old Trafford before the September 1 deadline.
