A body has tragically been found in a desperate search for two men who vanished near a Haven holiday park in Wales.
Officers were called at around 12.30pm yesterday, July 26, to reports of a body being found on a beach in Aberystwyth.
The individual has now been identified as Connor Parfitt, one of the men who were last seen close to a beach off Hafan-Y-Mor Holiday Park in Pwllheli on Tuesday evening. Connor’s family and the coroner have been informed.
A second man, Simon Wilson, has not yet been found, and officers are continuing to support his family, North Wales Police said.

The force said in an earlier appeal that concerns had been raised for the whereabouts of the pair, who were “believed to be heading to the beach with inflatable kayaks,” at around 6.30pm on July 21.
Coastguards and the RNLI launched a major search effort and witnesses were urged to contact police with any information about Simon and Connor’s whereabouts.

Chief Inspector Stephen Pawson said: “My thoughts remain with both Connor and Simon’s families at this incredibly difficult time.
“This is not the outcome any of us had hoped for, including the teams involved in the searches.
“Thank you to partner agencies, volunteers and members of the public who assisted in our searches over the last six days.
“We continue to appeal for any information or sightings of Simon to contact us quoting reference O120829.”
