It’s too early to know want happened at Tuesday’s closed-door meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and in any case, it is best to be cautious when attributing much importance to the declaration du jour (or de l’heure) by the American president. But, the winds blowing in Washington on the eve of the prime minister’s visit were quite chilly.
