■ A Hezbollah drone struck an Israeli military engineering vehicle in the area of southern Lebanon’s Ali al-Taher Ridge, the IDF said, in what it called “a blatant violation of the cease-fire agreement.”
■ One person has been wounded after being shot by Israeli forces during a military raid in Beit Ummar, a Palestinian town northwest of Hebron in the West Bank, medics said.
■ A U.S. projectile hit an uninhabited area on the outskirts of Piranshahr, a city in Iran’s northwestern West Azerbaijan province, Iranian state television reported.
■ Iran is expected to receive within weeks a first shipment out of up to 400 Chinese-made shoulder-fired air-defense missile launchers, three sources familiar with the deal told Reuters, as it rebuilds its defenses amid war with the United States.
■ Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi movement is considering imposing fees on commercial ships sailing through the southern Red Sea, sources said, while China’s shipping fleet is expected to be exempted from any Houthi fee system.
■ Iraq’s Iran-backed Shi’ite popular mobilisation forces said at least 20 of its members were killed and 32 were wounded in U.S.-Saudi strikes. Iran’s Foreign Ministry and Iraq’s presidency issued statements condemning the strikes, while Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi called off a planned meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
■ Together party head Naftali Bennett reiterated his vow that a government under his leadership would declare Qatar an enemy state after the Gulf state condemned what it called disinformation spread by the former Israeli prime minister.
■ Police and Tax Authority inspectors conducted a law enforcement operation in the southern Bedouin village of Tarabin, during which they raided several businesses and private homes, conducted audits and blocked roads throughout the village.
