Actor Bala has expressed deep pain over the false statements being spread about him and his family. In a heartfelt video shared alongside his wife Kokila, Bala firmly stated that neither he nor his family has harmed anyone.

“I have not raped anyone. We have never harassed anyone. Stop spreading lies and torturing my family,” Bala pleaded.

His statement comes in response to a video shared earlier by his former partner, Elizabeth Udayan, who, with a medical tube attached to her nose (nasogastric tube), alleged that if anything were to happen to her, her former husband and his family should be held responsible. Without naming her directly, Bala responded to these allegations, saying, “What she needs is medical attention, not media attention.”

Bala spoke candidly about the emotional toll these accusations have taken on him. “Many misunderstandings are being created about me. It hurts. I recently underwent a liver transplant surgery and was hospitalised. Last week also I went to the hospital. Still, I continue to fight and move forward in life. At the age of 41, finally I have got the family life I longed for. Kokila is taking good care of me. Why create unrest in that?”

He further stated, “We are not people who would harm others. We have not intended to do so. Lies are being fabricated and circulated in the media. Even her own family doesn’t take care of her. That too makes me sad.”

Explaining about his silence until now, Bala added, “I had made it clear four months ago that I would not speak on this matter, and I asked not to be forced into a situation where I had to. But the ongoing harassment has left me with no choice but to approach the court.”

Calling his wife Kokila into the video frame, Bala made a final plea: “Both of us are speaking from our hearts. Please, spare our family. Stop torturing us with false allegations. Bala is not a criminal. Our family is not evil. We have been in the film industry for a long time and have lived on that income alone.”

“My words won’t change. I wish her well. But what she truly needs is medical treatment,” Bala concluded.
