Vehicles, apartments hit by gunfire in Pittsburgh’s Hill District
Police say no one was injured
PITTSBURGH —
Pittsburgh Police are investigating two separate ShotSpotter alerts that totaled 30 rounds in the 2000 block of Webster Avenue around 11 p.m. Friday night.
Once in the area, a witness told police he heard some noise outside his apartment and came out to find four unknown actors rustling through his vehicle. When he confronted them, they began running and firing shots in the area of Webster and Seal.
At least four vehicles and multiple occupied apartments were damaged by the gunfire. There were no reported injuries.
Crime Scene Unit detectives processed the scene and recovered shell casings. There are no arrests at this time.
