A Ramallah doctor held for more than a month has described harsh conditions in Ofer Prison, an incarceration facility for security detainees in the West Bank. He has lost weight rapidly on food he described as unfit for human consumption, went without his regular medications for the first 10 days and is still being denied one of them. His requests to see a doctor went unanswered, he said, and only once did a medic check his pulse – through a small opening in the door.
