MADISON, Wis. — Marquette Law School Poll Director Charles Franklin discussed new survey results that preceded Mandela Barnes’ withdrawal from Wisconsin’s Democratic primary for governor.

The poll, released one day before Barnes’ announcement, showed him trailing front-runner Francesca Hong by 22 percentage points. Barnes exited the race after Tuesday’s first and only Democratic primary debate.

For the Record host Elly Laliberte spoke earlier with Franklin about what the poll indicates about the Democratic primary race.
