US President Donald Trump took to the stage in Nevada on Wednesday where he ended up chasing a runaway toddler.
Mr Trump had invited a local family on stage during his talk at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa in Las Vegas. The moment unfolded as the family – Las Vegas residents Sandra and Brad and their two young children – took to the stage.
As Sandra addressed the crowd, the toddler started to move off the stage and Mr Trump swooped in to prevent him from leaving.
“I don’t want him to be Biden and fall off the stage,” Mr Trump joked as he stood in front of the toddler.
Earlier, authorities said they are looking into a “safety incident” that could have led to airborne disaster for Mr Trump.
On Tuesday, US time, the Marine One helicopter carrying Donald Trump took off from the White House but passenger planes at one of Washington DC’s airports were not held to let the President pass.
The Federal Aviation Administration has insisted it was not a “dangerous close call” but one report said the President and a passenger jet were “converging“ on one another and did not have the adequate minimum space between them.
Elsewhere, the US is reportedly reassessing its plans to use nuclear weapons if there were to be a war with Russia or China.
