Congregation Tifereth Israel’s Senior Rabbi Hillel Skolnik and Paige Richards, director of family life and learning, recently visited students attending two Jewish summer camps. According to a Tifereth Israel news release, the pair stopped at Camp Livingston in Bennington, Ind., where they shared lunch with campers, heard about their summer experiences and read fortune cookies together. They also visited Camp Wise in Claridon Township, touring the camp’s new amphitheater, connecting with Tifereth Israel and other Columbus-area campers, sharing lunch and singing with camp staff. Two additional camp visits are planned before the end of the summer, according to the release.
