RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Update at 3:41 p.m.: Evacuation warnings and orders have been once again issued for parts of rural of Washoe County as the Bug Fire continues to grow.
New orders were issued for all areas of Red Rock around Porcupine Mountain, Frontier Road, Quarter Horse Circle, Appalossa Creek, and Percheron Drive.
Orders are also in place for the area of Seven Lakes Mountain and Belgian Way, as well as areas around Dry Valley Creek.
Meanwhile, warnings have been issued for areas west and south of Wildcat Hill Dogskin Mountain, and west of Winnemucca Ranch Road.

Update at 3:12 p.m.: New evacuation orders and warnings have been issued due to the Bug Fire.
The new orders have been issued for the Red Rock area from Thoroughbred Circle to Red Rock. The areas had previously been issued an evacuation warning at around 2:15 p.m. Monday.
New warnings are now in effect for an area of Washoe County from the intersection of Red Rock Road and Rodeo Drive northeast to beyond Percheron Drive.

Update at 2:15 p.m.: New evacuation warnings have been issued for the Bug Fire.
According to Perimeter Map, the new evacuation warnings have been issued for the Red Rock area from Thoroughbred Circle to Red Rock.

Original Article: The Bug Fire burning near Cold Springs is now 17,000 acres in size and 4% contained.
The fire first broke out at around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and has been ruled human-caused by the Bureau of Land Management. BLM did not clarify any additional details.
They say the fire remains active and wind driven. Hot dry and windy conditions are continuing to support rapid fire spread and extended burning periods.
Fire activity is expected to continue into this evening.
