A new change has taken effect for some streaming customers in Canada, giving them the opportunity to save on their monthly bills.

Bell Canada announced Monday that it has launched Bell Streaming, which allows customers to bundle some streaming services into one monthly bill.

Customers are able to save up to 25 per cent compared to subscribing individually, the company said.

Crave, Netflix and Disney+ are the included services.

“This offer, exclusive to Bell customers, gives a convenient and affordable way to access sought-after content, including HBO and award-winning originals from Crave, alongside world-renowned streaming platforms, Netflix and Disney+,” Bell said in a news release.

“With Bell Streaming, users receive one monthly bill for all their streaming subscriptions, eliminating the need for multiple payments.”

Customers are able to link their existing accounts to Bell Streaming, allowing them to maintain their personalized profiles.

“We’re offering something truly unique in the Canadian market—a bundled experience that brings together three of the most popular streaming services into a more simplified, affordable offer,” said Blaik Kirby, the group president of consumer and small business at Bell.

Bell has multiple bundle offerings, including the ability to combine Crave, Netflix and Disney+ into one subscription.

Bell said a basic plan for Crave, Netflix, and Disney+ costs $22 per month, leading to 24 per cent savings.

A premium plan for the three costs $49 per month, resulting in 21 per cent savings, the company said.

There are also two-service bundles available, combining either Crave and Netflix, or Crave and Disney+.

Crave is owned by Bell.

Bell Streaming is currently available to new and existing customers in Ontario and Quebec, “with additional regions to follow,” the company said.
