For over a week, Israeli settlers have laid siege to two Palestinian families in the West Bank village of Qusra, while Israeli security forces made limp efforts to remove them and even socialized with them. Today, the U.S. Ambassador to Israel got involved, and – using unusually direct language – called the settlers “Israeli terrorists” engaged in “disgusting,” “criminal” and “thuggish” behavior.
