A couple of days on from the experience, many of those who were lucky enough to attend are still coming down from the high of seeing Oasis reunited at Croke Park over the weekend.
The band’s shows at GAA headquarters were perhaps the most anticipated Irish gigs in recent memory. According to those in attendance, they more than lived up to the hype.
Some of the biggest names in Irish sport were lucky enough to see Oasis on Saturday or Sunday, but not everyone was as fortunate. The demand for tickets was remarkable, with both gigs selling out almost immediately after going on sale last summer.
Huge numbers of people attempted to get their hands on tickets in the days leading up to the Oasis gigs, not many of whom were successful.
However, one person did pull off an ingenious plan to ensure he did not miss the concert of the year.

Dublin Lad Pulled Off Ingenious Plan To Sneak Into Oasis Gig At Croke Park
Security was very tight around Croke Park over the weekend, meaning bypassing ticket checks ahead of the Oasis gig was an incredibly difficult task.
In saying that, one local lad did manage to pull off his plan to get into the concert despite not having a ticket.
Tik Tok user @blakekenna99 shared his experience of sneaking into the gig. Essentially, it involved getting his hands on a staff wristband, before a long wait in the Croke Park toilets.
He would eventually bluff his way onto the pitch, before taking in the gig in the standing area. You can see how his Oasis plan worked below.

Some going.
We can’t say we condone sneaking into events without a ticket, but you can understand why someone would be willing to go to extreme lengths to ensure they did not miss Oasis’ return to Dublin.
